Artist and designer Rachel Fitzpatrick works at the interface between art and design using a variety of tactile materials to create playful one-off installations and limited edition pieces. Rachel enjoys the challenge of transforming heavy-duty industrial textiles and fabrics into beautiful commissioned works of art or affordable design products. Rachel has collaborated with a wide variety of major corporate clients across the globe. Rachel is passionate about sharing her design and making skills with those who get involved in the project and keen to involve them directly in the making of multiple component pieces for ambitious large-scale artworks for the Linen Lab exhibition. Lyndsey uses natural dye processes to create pigmented fabric and threads.

Seacourt Print Workshop has established itself as one of the most innovative print resources in the UK and Ireland. It holds several exhibitions a year for its members, and has established international links with similar studios in Europe and America to facilitate the exchange of artists, ideas and exhibitions. It maintains an annual Artist Residency and often invites artists to give talks and demonstrations in a variety of techniques. SPW strives, whenever possible, to use safe and non-toxic materials and methods. It was the first print workshop in Ireland to adopt Acrylic-Resist Etching techniques, as promoted by Edinburgh Printmakers. A programme of research is under way exploring galv-etch, cnc machining of plates and waterless lithography utilising water-based inks. Education has been an essential aspect of SPW's activities since its inception. Its original premises were within a teachers' college and public classes in all techniques are still offered on a regular basis.
